We feature the area’s best selection of balled and burlapped trees and shrubs. From Acer to Zelkova, if it grows great in Kankakee County, we have it! Most of our balled trees are from our own 80-acre nursery along the Iroquois River. Our locally-grown trees will grow great in your yard, which is why for over 40 years, “When you think of trees… think of Tholens’”!

Is something wrong with your tree but you have no idea what it is? We are the people to help you diagnose the problem! With our full selection of fertilizers, pesticides, and tools, we can help you fix most of the problems in your yard. We also have a full line of stone, mulches, soils, landscape blocks, brick pavers, sod and just about every element needed for a magnificent yard.
